The newly refurbished restaurant quarter is located in Bridge Street and forms part of Abingdon-on-Thames town centre. It complements the Old Gaol which is an intrinsic part of the history of Abingdon, having reached its bicentenary in 2011.
The new restaurant quarter comprises of 3 units, totalling 11,571 sq ft of flexible space. External seating is available for each unit either overlooking the River Thames or an attractive courtyard. Throughout the year, the public gardens and courtyard will be able to host Art and Craft exhibitions, open air theatre productions, picnics, festivals and weddings (subject to the appropriate licences).
The development provides a link between Abingdon’s important tourist trade centred around the River Thames and the town centre.
